Welcome to my web site.  I would like to share with you a little bit about my artwork and something about myself.

     I try to create a visual story, an inside look into the lives of the people of a time gone by.  I enjoy the challenge of capturing shapes, textures and design, making certain my research for the costumes, characters and backgrounds are as accurate as possible.  I try to imagine the personalities of each of the characters before I start to paint.  I think of what life was like in their place and time.  I try to find what is best of the old and bring it to life in my art.  I am fascinated by the lure of the past, another place, another way of life, and I hope I can show you with a one act, one scene, one moment look back in time.  I try to endeavor through my art to bring to you a glance of yesterday or just a gentle pause in life.
